The project required a total gut renovation of a fire damaged hilltop residence that had been abandoned for nine years.

The first floor was redesigned to take advantage of the dramatic view over roofs  to a green landscape.
An addition was rebuilt to provide a breakfast area off the new kitchen and a stair to a lower level office and in-law apartment.

On the second floor the master bedroom was enlarged, a dressing provided, two new baths added to children's rooms and an existing bath converted to a laundry.

A requirement for a carport allowed the creation of an upper level deck and an exterior stair that interconnects five levels.  As most of the rear of the property has a 30 degree slope, the terrace and extensive decks provide needed level outdoor space.
